ITINERARY FOR 7D6N KASHMIR AND DELHI, INDIA

·       Note: Flight suggestion from Kuala Lumpur to New Delhi (MAS). Connecting flight from New Delhi to Srinagar (IndiGo, Air India etc). We highly advise / suggest participants to arrive one day earlier before day of trip. Dont worry, tripadikberadik will arrange / booking your accomodation for those who came early.



ITINERARY FOR 7 DAYS 6 NIGHTS


 DAY 1

·     On arrival in Srinagar, pickup and transfer to houseboat. After freshen proceed for a shikara ride in dal lake in luxurious shikaras. Overnight in houseboat.
(Dal Lake is a lake in Srinagar, the summer capital of Jammu and Kashmir. The urban lake, which is the second largest in the state, is integral to tourism and recreation in Kashmir and is named the "Jewel in the crown of Kashmir).







DAY 2

·               After breakfast, proceed for a day trip of Mughal gardens, city, and mosques of Srinagar. Overnight in houseboat.
(Mughal gardens are a group of gardens built by the Mughals in the Persian style of architecture. This style was heavily influenced by the Persian gardens particularly the Charbagh structure. Some of the typical features include pools, fountains and canals inside the gardens).







DAY 3

·               After breakfast proceed for a day trip to Gulmarg (valley of flowers), where you can go in gondola cable car. Overnight in houseboat.
(Gulmarg originally named Gaurimarg or “the fair one” by shepherds in honour of the Hindu goddess Parvati, the resort was renamed Gulmarg or the “meadow of flowers” by Sultan Yusuf Shah of the Chak Dynasty who frequented the place with his mistress Habina Khatoun in the 16th century. The Mughal Emperor Jahangir for his gardens collected wild flowers of 21 different varieties from here).







DAY 4

·               After breakfast proceed for a day trip to Pahalgham (Valley of Shepherds) where you will see the beautiful valleys and Lidder River. You can also ride horses to go around the tranquil valleys. Overnight in houseboat.
(Pahalgam is a town and a notified area committee in Anantnag district of the Indian state of Jammu & Kashmir. It was once a tourist attraction and a favourite place for shooting of Bollywood films).







DAY 5

·               After breakfast proceed to airport to take a flight to Delhi. On arrival in Delhi pickup from airport and transfer to hotel in Delhi. Overnight in hotel.
(National Capital Territory of Delhi, is the Capital territory of India. It has a population of about 11 million and a metropolitan population of about 16.3 million, making it the second most populous city and second most populous urban agglomeration in India).


DAY 6

·               After breakfast proceed for a day trip to Agra where you see the 7th wonder of the world Taj Mahal. Agra city tour to Agra Fort, Fatehpur Sikri etc. Overnight in Delhi hotel.
(Agra is a city on the banks of the river Yamuna in the northern state of Uttar Pradesh, India. Agra can also refer to the administrative district that has its headquarters in Agra city. It is a major tourist destination because of its many splendid Mughal-era buildings, most notably the Tāj Mahal, Agra Fort and Fatehpur Sikri, all three of which are UNESCO World Heritage Sites).







DAY 7

·               After breakfast proceed for a local sightseeing of Delhi for a day. In the evening drop at the international airport to take a flight to Malaysia.
